The fire department has had many opportunities to hire community firefighters but the fire department hired firefighters that do not live in brooklyn park.Also you can not become a firefighter in brooklyn park because you have to be trained for medicals in which the department is just not need at that kind of service call.The fire department staffing detracts from the city's quality of fire service and our community.Brooklyn park fire department also will not hire citizens that just want to be a firefighter.What I mean is you can not live in our city and be a firefighter that wants to fight fires you have to do medicals.Come on the only service you the fire department can do that no one else can do is fires.I look at all of this and say have you lost your minds or what?

So much for a community fire service.

I agree this department has lost most all ethics and moral trust.And the new moral code is only about themselves.And this is detrimental to our city and the city fire service.
